I am in the process of changing my alternators and I forgot to take a picture of the connectors for mine... Does anyone know what kind of alternators do these engines came with? I kind of remember they looked like 22SI but there are different connectors like a 3 wire vs 1 wire, etc... I would like to buy the 24SI version but I need to know what kind of connector i need to get.
so my alternators are the small balmar style that use external regulators but i will be swapping these to some 180 amp delco 28si units that use the j180 mount. These are self exiting and have internal regulators.. I did have to buy two new pulleys and brackets in order to do the exchange..
