In my 3500 exp. My house batteries are four 6 volt golf cart batteries wired for 12 volts.
Neglected to add water last year and the batteries boiled dry and will not charge. I would like to change to 12 volt deep cycle batteries, wet acid. How many and what size batteries would work for my house?

I'm surprised to hear you have golf cat batteries in the boat... I don't believe they were standard when the boat was delivered by Tiara.... I have a 2003 Tiara 38 Open with 6 GEL Batteries; 3 for the house and 3 for the engines/genertor.. After 17years I changed them with 6 new GEL batteries as the alternators, House and engine chargers were set up for GEL batteries... Need to find out what was provided by Tiara and what you house, engine & alternators are set for. M2C
I have 31 group starting batteries, wet acid, came with the boat when I bought it. Also, the four golf cart batteries for the house came with the boat.
What size House Batteries do you have?

ReelMagic is correct, need to start with your charging system. What model shorepower charger do you have? What do have for alternators? Are they externally regulated?
