I have a 2 Northstar 6000i units.  One unit is a slave.  Sounder and radar all work through the units.
Main unit is not booting charts.  All other tests pass.
When I boot the slave the charts do boot up.

The only change from last season is that I installed a new transducer and it is not connected yet.
Could this cause the chart not to load?
Everything was working at the end of last season.

Jimmy Ruggiero from New Orleans just fixed my 2001 Northstar 952. Brightness adjustment went and the battery needed replacement $180 plus shipping for repairs. Highly Recommend contacting Jimmy. phone 504-400-7720

AS an aside, When I am boat shopping, it is amazing how many owners love their Northstar gear. Even owners who can afford to replace their electronic package every years, won't give up their Northstar GPS. The second unit might get updated since depth and radar have improved, but the Northstar GPS stays.

Anoher northstar repair guy is 1-9549436343 located in Pompano bch,fl and has lots of older Northstar parts. Very reasonable.
