Hi Guys ! I own a 2005 4400/4700 Tiara Sovereign with Cats. Im having problems getting it to ride like the Tiara reputation says it should "like a tank" I have played with trim tabs up and down and it seems in choppy water the boat gets pushed around too much for a boat of this size and weight. My guess is that I should not use tabs at all and I'm burying the nose in to much however without any tabs it seems to ride high.may be my imagination. My friend had a 50 Sundancer that seems to ride much better in the same water but thats a Sea Ray !!!! I told my wife that this is the boat you want to be in when it gets Sloppy in Lake Erie. the boat so far is proving me wrong.

It sounds like you are using to much trim and getting some bow steer.try less tab and varying your speed. My 41 rides a little bow high and in flat water I can trim it down, but if it getts sloppy I leave the bow up some and adjust my speed to match. Runs like a champ.
