 Hello everyone I’m new to this forum. 

I’m currently looking at 2900 Tiara Coronets and would appreciate any inside information on what to look for with this model from current owners. Thx much for any help you may provide.

I am also new here and have just purchased a 1999 2900 Coronet. Most or all have the Crusader 7.4 mpi engines. These are good motors if maintained properly. Make sure they can turn WOT rpm, which for these is between 4000 to 4400. You would prefer the upper end of that range. Also, at WOT, they must not over heat.
Mine had minor blisters in one spot at the water line. The bottom of the boat is solid glass but everything else is cored. Be sure there are no wet spots in the decks or around any of the through hull fittings.
Mine needed minor maintenance and cleaning, but now that she has been properly loved, it is a wonderful boat. Good luck in your hunt and feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
