HPF error and strainer location
#1
My A/C constantly gives me an HPF error, all 4 of them actually. I was told to check the strainers but where can I find these and what do they look like? I have a 2014 39 Coronet.

Presumably water is not flowing out your AC discharge fittings? The strainers look like your engine intake strainers, but most likely smaller. There is usually one strainer in front of each AC cooling pump. Not sure where yours are located, probably in the engine room. If you follow the hose back from the cooling pump it should lead to the strainer.

After you clean and reinstall the baskets, install the cap loosely then open the sea cock until water starts flowing out the top. Then tighten everything down. Leaving air in the strainer may cause an air-lock which will also cause limited/no water flow, triggering a high pressure fault. If this doesn’t fix the issue make sure the ac pump breakers are on, the cooling pumps are actually running and that the intakes are not fouled with marine growth.
