I keep my Tiara at a marina on the South Carolina coast, and between the pollen in spring and what blows in off the ICW, the waterline on my hull gets grimy fast. I have been thinking about a cordless robotic cleaner to drop in around the slip, mostly so I am not hauling out the hose and brush every weekend. I came across this page while looking at options: iGarden KN35 Robotic Pool Cleaner Review. What I am unsure about is whether something built for backyard pools holds up to brackish water and a boat that shifts slightly on its lines. I am also worried about the battery lasting long enough to be useful and whether it would just bump against the hull instead of cleaning the waterline. If you have used a cordless cleaner in a slip, how did it actually work out? Any input is welcome.
