I use the weather to see what is going on inland. In FL durring the summer we get horrendous storms that start around Tampa and March across the state exiting off into the Atlantic. To be able to see where they are and time my return to beat them is very helpfull.
Once the storms are offshore my Radar is a better tool. Sirius weather can be a little delayed (5 to 10 minutes) but the radar shows real time and I can choose a path with the least rain.

Fusion is now owned by garmin so they work great together. As for Sirius, I have it on my car and now they stream it thru their app using your account. You can run that thru the Bluetooth on the radio. Fusion also has color changing speakers. They are awesome
You can also control the fusion radio thru the chart plotter depending on the plotter. Go to west marine. They will set you up. Good luck

I think it all depends on how it is linked in. My sirus antenna hooks into the NMEA 2000 network and my Garmin plotters control station selection to the fusion. The fusion controls Volume and everything else (am, fm, Bluetooth,,,)
