Hi, i'm new to this forum. Does anyone know whats the best fitting replacement fridge for a 89' 3300 open, assuming they only used one size. I removed and threw out the old norcold tek 2 (beyond repair) also without checking the model number. Does anyone make one that fits without modifying the opening or adding trim? Thanks for any info
My suggestion would be to measure the size of your cut out and then search thru West Marine or Defender's website and look and see which refrigerator fits that cutout. I have an '86 3600 and I could look up my model for you, but no guarantee yours was the same.

My 1988 3300 has a NorCold Model#DE704 ..... still works on AC, but not DC. It is on my list to upgrade.
Found dimensions for cutout H 33 1/8 x W 22 x D 21 3/4

Instead of up-grading your refrigerator you can replace the circuit card that controls the use of 12 vdc or 115 vac. Have replaced several on friends boats and cost wasn't to high. BTW the refrigerator runs on 12 vdc and the 115 vac is rectified down to 12 vdc... M2C Good Luck
Had to replace the Norcold on a 33. Norcold was no longer available but I found a Nova Cool that was the right fit. Also I added a computer style blower fan to the 4" vent in the back which helped exhaust the hot air from the compressor to keep it from having to work so hard. I think the Nova Cool was wired for the fan and they have their own
