I have a 2012 Sovran 4500 with a Garmin 8000 electronics package.  When ever I activate the auto pilot  the auto steering makes either a hard turn to port or starboard.  I usually have to disengage because the turn is that severe.   It occasionally occurs when I hit the "Go To" setting.  Has anyone else experienced this?  Any suggestions?

Go into Settings and disable the Reverse Mode function. Report back if that solves your problem.
