Got a question regarding paralleling the batteries for cold starts. Do I push AND HOLD the parallal button in and at the same time turn the key ?, or do I simply press the button in firmly ( engaging a relay perhaps ) let go and then turn the key ? I have not had to use this feature but I know the day is coming and need to know what to do.
Push and hold. While your pushing the button, it engages a solenoid that then connects the batteries in parallel. Once you release the button, the solenoid disengages.
