Hello.  I have a 2005 3800 Open.  I am looking to replace the holding tank in-line vent filter.  Looking for assistance on locating the filter and any lessons learned in replacing.  Previous threads recommend using the sealand holding tank vent filters.  Thank you.

If someone knows where it is please let us know. I was told it was on the starboard side under the gunwale in the engine room. I've looked all over, crawling in places I never thought I could get to... Additionally, I looked in the cabin behind the settee on the starboard side and still haven't found it...I believe its in there somewhere but I failed at locating it.....Looked more than once.. M2C

I have a 3100 and mine is right on top of the holding tank. It should be somewhere on your vent line from the holding tank.

On my 41 it is under the deck hatch in the galley. On my 50 it is in the engine room on top of the tank.

On my 2003 35 Open it is under the port side gunwale near the forward bulkhead of the engine compartment.
