I can only use one 30 amp power cord at a time on the new gfi pedestal in my 2005 Sovran 3600. If I try to run both at the same time it breaks will click off.

You may have a neutral crossed on the bus bar between the two causing the imbalance. Get a quality splitter and see if both sides will power up off of a single 30 amp feed. If so, you'll need to start chasing circuits.
