WHich prop to use

I have a 1992 Tiara 270 sport and have 2 19 pitch propellers on the boat. I am having a hard time getting the boat to plain when it is full of gas and water and 4 or more people. Does anyone know if using a 17 pitch would help or is this a normal issue with the boat

Yes decreasing the pitch of the props will definitely help it get on plane. The flip side is that you will lose speed for a given RPM.
