I have a 1991 27 open tiara that has been running great. However, after not using it for nearly 5 months, I cannot get the port engine to start. After removing the air filter from the carburator I discovered that there is barely any fuel spraying from the injectors. It seems obvious to me that I have a low fuel pressure situation. I have asked several folks here in key largo and been told that it could be a bad fuel pump, bad fuel pump relay, a fried fuse, etc. Any ideas??? I am pretty good at fixing mechanical problems, but need direction as to where to look. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Juan.

Hi bud, this forum does not appear to me to be set up to be conducive to answer your repair questions. But anyhow i will try to help you. Dont go ripping your carburator off for a rebuild until you find your blockage. There are many possibilties down stream from the carb. Dont buy parts indiscrimanantly. You can check the fuel pressure to the carb with a tool. This will keep you from pulling pumps, changing relays and stuff. btw you can test a relay with 12v

Juan,
I agree, have you checked the filters? Maybe the pickups in the fuel tank for pin holes? A kinked hose? Also be Also be cautious with fuel.
