Hello all, perspective new owner here. Looking at a '89 3300 Open.  I'll search the forums and sorry if it's all been asked before but anybody have particular areas of concern with that vintage 3300 Open?  I read there were some fuel tank issues (if anyone knows specifically what to look for...) but just trying to get as much info. on the boat from people experienced with them. I love the boat and passed on several other newer boats because of the Tiara reputation. Thanks in advance and Happy 4th of July

I had a 1988 Open and it was a great boat. There was an issue with the fuel tanks, particularly in salt water. I think Tiara ended up changing out some tanks but for those that did not show any corrosion Tiara had a retro fit adding another bilge pump to a low spot under the tank. Other than getting a qualified survey all I can say is don't buy one without the Crusader engines.
