I purchased a beautiful Vetus mahogany/SS destroyer wheel (finished mahagony ring mounted to SS spokes and hub) which I believe is what Tiara outfits their newer boats with. I ordered it from marinewharehouse.net and paid about $350.00, well below retail. I personally prefer mahogany but they also have teak trimmed wheels as well. Not sure if you are looking for a full wooden helm but recommend you check out Vetus.com and see if they have anything you like, then shop their dealer network.

Thank you very much for the information. I'd like the mahogany rimmed as well.

I have 2 in my shop. Not sure what they are, I think mahogany, or if they will work for you, but I would sell them cheap.
