Hello Everyone,
I am a new member and found this group while I was doing some research on my Tiara. I live in Los Angeles and recently purchased a 2008 Tiara 4200 open. The experience has, so far, been incredible. Our previous boat was a 30' Monterey, and so I am on a vertical learning curve and loving every minute of it. Thrilled to have found a site where new owners... can ask dumb questions!

As I am slowly learning what buttons to push, and what "that switch" does, I discovered a stiff mesh bag attached to the port side of the midship helm area. It is located behind the dinette seats and is removable. It has two compartments and is approx. 6 feet by 2 feet, tapering to one foot. It is a narrow space and might hold something flat and thin...canvas. It doesn't hold the aft cover or the windshield cover. If anyone knows what this bag if for, I would greatly appreciate the knowledge!

The mesh bag is designed to hold your side curtain isinglass. It keeps the isinglass separated from the other piece and prevents scratches and wrinkles.
