Actually I bought a Tiara (560hrson it)that swallowed water through exhausts due to it's strut hitting a rock on plane and causing rear of boat to take on water, it was after this that I learned how solid these boats really are, rest of hull was untouched and solid, I was told I need to pull engines to rebuild them at a cost of $20,000 just to get them out and was told to get new long blocks, these are sleeved engines so I had to try, not a fun job but it can be done, probably the hardest thing was putting all the piston oil cooling nozzles in upside down standing on your head with a mirror but with a lot of patience it can be done also. To me this engine package is the best for as they have plenty of power and you can lay on top of them and get to both sides of the engines fairly easily and with no glowplugs to break off and no intake or block heaters to worry about, these engines are fairly simple and do not smoke for more than 6 seconds even when cold
