So after hearing what Tiara said I can surmise that this is not the first time they've heard of this so I'd like to show what I came up with as a way of keeping the resin drippings from plugging up the intake tubes and hoses. I fabricated these stainless mesh filter boots that simply slip onto the ends of the intakes and have a set screw to keep them up off the tank floor by about a half inch. I also cleaned the tank of everything that was in reach.
