Thanks for the welcome. Yeah I love the 41. I have the CAT 3208s. Bought the boat with 730 hours on them. I like the engines and they are super reliable, but a but under powered IMO. I love the fuel economy at cruise but was hoping to get a tiny but more speed. I cruise the boat at 2300 and stay in the 20.5-22 knot range.
M Having sold a few of them, is that pretty much standard with these boats and this power plant? Should I be getting more speed? I'm OT a speed freak but was hoping around 23k cruise. I don't want to push the engines too much so I kind of stay away from above the 2400 RPM range.
Do you currently own a 41? As I said, I absolutely love the boat and everyone that sees her comments. It really is a beautiful, well made, great looking boat. If you have any operating experience with these boats, I'd love to hear any info you may be able to pass along. It's my first season with her and I'm still getting used to it.
