I once had a boat where they drilled a hole in the top of the seacock valve handle, had a 1/4" rod bent 90 degrees at the base and inserted into the hole with a retaining nut. Had a bracket mounted on the stringer with a 1/4" hole that the rod went through to give top support and a tee handle on the top of the rod. Worked great.
I've considered some kind of marker rods for my boat so if my er is flooded I know where to locate all the seacocks. If I can find them I'll get them closed. Be interested to hear of any other owners who have considered or designed something.
