I have a 41 open. I have taken the access panels out many times. The lights on my boat are held in the access panel with spring loaded wire bails. Pull the bail away from the access plate like a mousetrap and slide the light out of the hole. The light fixture itself can be disconnected from the wiring by moving a flat plate with pivots on a rivet. Hope this helps.
