TV Voltage
#2
If you don’t have access to 120vac and 12VDC is all that is available then your options are 1) install a small inverter to give you 120vac at the TV. Make sure you size it for the TV watt requirements and make sure the wiring can support the amp load the inverter will require. 2) purchase a 12V TV or a TV with an external 12V transformer power cord (just purchased an LG this way). The power cord can be cut in front of the transformer and wires directly to the 12V supply. 3) if the 12V circuit is dedicated and not wired into anything else you can rewire it as a 120V circuit at the breaker panel and install a dedicated standard box/outlet by the TV. Have an electrician help if you aren’t familiar with working with AC service.
