I agree. The boat was sitting level or slightly forward on the hard. Once dropped in the water flowed thru the weep hole into the engine bilge. Do you boat in fresh or salt water? You can taste it if it’s salt. But I would suspect it was left over from being on blocks. I had a 2700 and now a 3300 both sit bow heavy.

My 2700 had no access hatch in the cabin, so I cut out an 8” inspection port and installed an automatic bilge pump. This kept the entire bilge dry.
