Tiara Sovran Warning on EVC "Check Steering Wheel” and getting out of Limp Mode ?

We have solved the EVC warnings , turns out we have a bad alternator which was causing low voltage condition which confused the EVC fault .In addition we cleaned the contacts that run from the steering wheel to a wiring harness, there was a label on the wire with the word “steering” Which made it much easier to identify. So the combination of cleaning the contacts on the wiring harness and replacing the alternator solved the “ Check Steering Wheel “ code .
