only use boat on weekends, so it does sit sumtimes in the slip for a week or 2 at a time, when i'm not using boat i turn off the air conditioning, my bildge never automatically kicks on (mid bildge) when i do turn on the bildge it runs for about 10 seconds and spits the water out of the port side of boat, at most there is 2 inches of water in the bildge, never enough to make the bildge kick on, the water is crystal clear, is this normal? i have checked under both fish boxes at the back of the boat, zero water back there, have checked the front bildge area, nothing, bone dry, i have taken a shop vac and sucked out all water of mid bildge area, after a few minutes the water seems to be coming from underneath the bildge pump, if that makes sense?? the marina that services my boat tells me this is normal, it's a boat, it's in the water, there is gonna be water in the bildge, should i be concerned? i look under both engines, both dry, nothing leaking anywhere, it's driving me crazy, any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you, i have a 2003 4200 open if that helps, thank you again.
