Agree 100% Sans Peur. I get there are trade-offs, but I just don’t see how pods are any easier to work on or more reliable than a stick and wheel which I can get repaired at literally any yard. Hence the reason we looked for an older Tiara. To the point of my post above, there also has to be a reason why some of the biggest, most luxurious lines of owner-operator boats don’t use them. I know Tony Fleming has said “never” to his company using pods. Must be a reason why!
