Took cover off, there is no battery??? When got back to dock checked engine compartment every thing seemed fine??? It was 1 beep like every 10 or 20 seconds??? How do I shut it off??? Any thing to check or clean??? Thank youHow old is the CO detector? I just had this on my boat with my units. Manual says they have a lifespan of 4-5 yrs, not exactly sure of the time but when they reach life expectancy the light turns red and emits a beep every 30 seconds. You can reset them to work for another 30 days or so but basically need new units, I have the Fireboy units. Hope this helps.
