See if there is a name on the motor somewhere and Google it. Then click on images and see if you can match it up. It maybe a Motion Systems Corp., Eatontown, NJ unit and you could ask their advice on repairing it. Warner Linear is another name to look at. Go to e-Bay and search "Electric hatch lift" Capt.
