I recently purchased a low hour 2006 36 Open with Cummins 425s in it. With 380 all fresh water hours. I tok her to Long Island NY via Saint Lawrence River, Lake Ontario and the Oswego and Erie Canals to the Hudson River. It started a mild surge so I changed the razor filters. On my last boat I would close the supply valves and run the engines for a few second to drain down the racors and not spill any fuel. I did the same with this boat but fuel was still flowing into the filters and the bilge. I guess it is possible the valve diagram is not correct but maybe I am missing a secret to do this neatly. Ideas?
