I had a blade failure on one of my original 3 blade props. I decided to change both props just in case. The prop shop convinced me to move to a 4 blade Acme prop. Slightly more expensive but not much. I can’t say I have seen any change in cruise or WOT. They are smooth. And I can turn 2650 on my tachs. The bite at the dock is great, but it was pretty impressive with the original 3 blade props too. I don’t have a way to determine if any change has occurred in fuel burn. Hope that helps.
