Smartcraft Fuel rate to Waypoint
#4
All I know is that back in 2005 when the Smart Craft instrumentation first started showing up, we were unsuccessful in connecting the system to the Raymarine Electronics. At some point in 2008 or 2009, we were able to. You may be able to update the software on your E-120 and have it work, but that is a question for someone at Smart Craft and/or Raymarine. Your smart craft computers use an algorithm based on engine load and RPM to calculate fuel burn, so they are not actually measuring fuel burned, but in my experience, the algorithm is very close to actual. The only thing you will get by connecting your electronics to the Smart Craft System is you will be able to see engine information on your Electronics screen and it will be able to calculate MPG as the Smart Craft will now have access to speed.

I hope that helps in some little way.
