I dont know on your boat, but on my 2006 Sovran, it is behind a panel in the main cabin. It will probably have at least 2 electrical meters, maybe 4. 1 set of meters will show the a/c volts, and the other set may show the amps or amount of current. The meter for the volts should be between 110-120, no matter if it is on the shore power, or the genny. Somewhere around these meters should be switches that turn off and on the power from the shore, or from the genny. They probably have some sort of 'lock out' mechanism so you dont have both on at the same time. Look around you should see it. let me know
