The Tiara 4000 Sovran was introduced in 2005 as a 2006 model. Shortly after introduction, Tiara changed the model designation to Tiara 4300 Sovran. They are exactly the same boat, just called by a different name. Even owners of Tiara 4000 Sovrans call them 4300 Sovrans, that is unless they are paying the dockage bill in which case it is a 40!
The draft is less because of the IPS Drives. They are Perpendicular to the hull bottom, so they are angled outward and they also have smaller diameter propellers, although they have 2 per side which are counter rotating (7 blades in total per side).
