I have a 2006 Sovran 3600, it has the clarion stereo over in the map compartment on the port side of the boat.  On the helm, it has a remote control unit.  I would like to upgrade the stereo, which I find is pretty much plug and play, but I need help routing the wire over to the helm from the map compartment.  Has anyone done this??  I know if I can get it down into the engine I can get it back up.  I don't want to tape it off and pull as the wire bundles are too tight .  Has anyone done this??  I really like the remote hard wired, the wireless ones, I am sure I'll lose!!

Sluggo,  I was going to do the same on my 36 Sovran to enable me to use bluetooth devices.  (the CD player was broken as well).  However I just installed a bluetooth adapter on the old unit and saved me a lot of grief.
