I am going to check it out tonight, I have one of those flexible tv camera things that you look into sewer pipes with to see what I can see. Tiara says they run in under the headliner, which I wont mess with. That says, Clarion makes an adaptor for the remote wire, it wont run the display, but everything else is suppose to work, so we will see!! Thanks for the reply.(07-05-2016, 09:51 AM)sluggo Wrote: I have a 2006 Sovran 3600, it has the clarion stereo over in the map compartment on the port side of the boat. On the helm, it has a remote control unit. I would like to upgrade the stereo, which I find is pretty much plug and play, but I need help routing the wire over to the helm from the map compartment. Has anyone done this?? I know if I can get it down into the engine I can get it back up. I don't want to tape it off and pull as the wire bundles are too tight . Has anyone done this?? I really like the remote hard wired, the wireless ones, I am sure I'll lose!!
Sluggo, I was going to do the same on my 36 Sovran to enable me to use bluetooth devices. (the CD player was broken as well). However I just installed a bluetooth adapter on the old unit and saved me a lot of grief.
