Ok, I just picked up my icerette from my local boat repair shop . I wound up taking it to a shop that does the repairs . This wound up being more than what I wanted to mess with . The whole tray module had to be replaced and the icerettes gases had to be evacuated . I also removed the piece that the icerette gets screwed into , removed the old caulking and reinstalled it with the 5200 adhesive caulking . It's drying as I type this note . I also picked up a water charcoal activated filter to install in the 1/4" water line that feeds the unit. I have to give the adhesive a few days to dry before I slip the icerette back into its cubby hole but I'll be making my own ice in a few days .
Next job on the list , removal of the insulated box & disconnect the drain on the rear port side of the L shaped seat . Clean the old adhesive and caulking off and reinstall the box with the 5200 adhesive. .................Rich
