thank you
I just received my kit as well. I also plan on rebedding the portlight by completely removing it, cleaning and resealing with silicone. I think the glue goes on the rubber gasket to hold it in place, but planned on calling GG Schmitt and verifying. I plan on starting mine in mid march when I can get up to my boat. I'll post pictures and update when I do. Let me know if you find out anything as well.
i plan on doing mine in april as the weather is still to cold in march, i did send G&G an email yesterday but have not heard back yet i will post it if i hear anything. on my previous 29 open tiara i had to rebed the portlites they wern't bad to install if you take your time and clean hem well, be carful taking them out, ypu can bend the out side ring real easy. also it was recomended at the time not to use silicone so i used White life seal chalk it's a little messy but really did a nice job

You got lucky. I just called GG Schmitt looking for new screens & gaskets and the lead time is 7 weeks. I'm on a waiting list to get a call from them to take the order.
