My Tiara is a 1990. Looking at the sectioned battery racks it appears the 6v in series was standard. It just doesn't appear the racks were modified from standard. No generator and yes I do have an inverter. House battery is a single 8d. Thanks

I have never seen one with 6V batteries, but then Inverters are not very popular down here in South Florida. We need Air-conditioning just about year round, so you have to run the generator while away from the dock, so no need for an inverter. It may have been standard back then with the inverter option. I have also never seen an 8D house battery in a 31 Open. I'm not so sure that someone didn't just modify your 31 along the way. If it works, great, but it will be more expensive to replace batteries.
