I have a 2008 43" Sovran with a helm area cockpit carpet which needs to be replaced.  I believe it is Aqua Turf material and is original.  Is this something I can buy and have cut using the existing carpet as a template?  Thanks

I replaced my carpet with the berber that is used by various manufacturers like Formula and Sea Ray and you can by it by the running foot here:

I cut it myself and then took it to my local canvas shop and they did the binding.  It comes in either 6' or 7.5' wide.  I replaced my upper and lower carpet in my 35 Open for about $300 in materials and $120 for binding.  The companies that wanted me to send them a template of what I wanted were all well over $1,000.00.
