Raymarine Ev-200 Autopilot Help
#1
Installed a new Raymarine Auto Pilot EV-200 with a p-70r head in our 38 open. When engaged at cruise, boat constantly makes 10 degree plus s-curves. Does anybody how to eliminate these? When running dockside wizard what are the hard-over times and rudder degrees etc? Any advice?

I would recommend calling Raymarine and seeking their advice if you haven't already. Hopefully it is an easy fix.

Not sure about a Raymarine Auto Pilot but on my 38 Open I have a SIMRAD AP21. There are several settings that are configurable as part of dockside setup. Included is system gain that can be adjusted to account for what you describe. Too much gain  and you get "S" turns. Too little gain and the system has a problem holding course.. Take a look at the manual and I'm sure there is something similar for Raymarine Autopilots..... I adjusted mine years ago as part of the system setup and the boat tracks quite well without making "S" curves that can be seen in the boats wake...M2C.. Hope this helps....
