I have noticed my 4500 "plastic" cabin door is rubbing inside of the helm causing it to scratch. Has anyone had this issue before, if so how do you adjust the helm to fix it?

I spray wd40 in mine all the time to keep it sliding nice. It may fix your scratching problem because if the slides aren't working right the door will lift itself up as you slide it and that may be why it is scratching.

Not sure if WD40 is the answer as it does not contain any lubricant. Suggest you use a silicon spray of somesort... I did several years ago and so far ithas remained easy to open/close. M2C
