This boat will be used salmon fishing on Lake Michigan, can't wait until next spring after I rig it for fishing this winter.

Hi Jim, welcome to the site and congrat's on the new 38. We just bought a 2002 38 a few months back and absolutely LOVE it! Lots of good info here. We are in Florida and get to use the boat year round. What projects do you have planned over the winter?

Going to add 3 or 4 downriggers, probably Cannon Digitrolls, and then some rod holders. I also need to install a fish hawk speed and temp display at the helm. Should make for a fun winter getting it ready. I wish the weather was good enough to use it year round, but that ain't happening.
