I noticed at the end of this season a line of graphite under the bellows on both prop shafts.
The mechanic at the boat yard tells me it is normal and not to worry about it , however this is the first year I noticed this.

What says the collective ?

I have a 2003 38 Open w/450 Cummin's and see the same thing.. Over the 15 years I've owned the boat I see the same but the PSS system seems to be OK. I had a mechanic, several years ago, tell me not to worry as long as there is no leaking or water spraying. Have seen any water and all seems to be OK.. M2C
