I am going into my 5th season with my 31 open. I had the props tuned the first season. How often should the props be pulled and sent out for reconditioning?
I typically do it every time I paint the bottom OR if I feel I may have nick something/hit something. I have a spare set so I swap them out, have the old set sent out and they are then my spares.

I always used to do them every other year (when I had bronze props). Since I’ve upgraded to a boat with nibral (which is twice the price to recon around here), I’m switching to a “when needed but at least every 5 years.”
