Will be bumping up from our 2900 Open Classic to the 3200 Open Classic --  only dissapointment is that the 29 had the fold sown transom seat with the nice cushion ... the 3200 has a poorly designed and uncomfortable fold down seat that is like a bar with tent-like fabric that covers it, not nice to look at or sit in.  I want to replace it with the cushion seat, that was an option.  I've been looking everywhere! Anyone had any ideas??? This is a real dealbreaker for the new boat.

I have a 2006 36 Open, same uncomfortable bi-fold rear seat with the the stretched canvas material without a cushion.  I too would buy one if I could find the parts, or even have machine shop duplicate them.  I've looked high and low, but no luck yet.  Will let you know if my luck changes.

It’s crazy that Tiara even put those horrible canvas seats in any of their boats. I did find one If the cushioned seats that came out of a 38’ which is too wide for our 32’. We tried every which way to see if we could make it work but it ends up being like 3” too wide. I’m happy to put you in touch with the person who has it. He is in CA.

I made a seat base of starboard and had a cushion top custom made to match the rest of the seats. If I want to fish I just stick it down below and fold up the pipe support
