I ordered a new FIAMM Horn, but cannot find the compressor. Checked behind helm, and in engine compartment. Before I pull the headliner down, wanted to see if anyone had any suggestions. Thank you!
On my 2005 29 Open it is on the STB side of the helm behind the drink holder which must be unscrewed
to get into the gunwale
Hope this helps with your model

On my 2003 38 open its behind the steering station and then behind a deck plate cover on the starboard side.... BTW if your horns are not making what they should it's most likely the diaphragms on the horns themselves. Remove the covers (3 screws) on the horms and you will see the diaphragms.. Clean them as well as well as ther seats. Then put the covers back and try. If you hear noise from the compressor area it's mostlikely what I stated, the diaphragms.. M2C
Replaced my horns on my 2016 39c with new Flamm replacements
going to be the horn diaphragms gone bad
Mine were completely degraded due to age / dirt/ water intrusion (never spray water into them when washing) etc they all go over time it’s not the compressor which I found located under the horns when I pulled down the outside cockpit headliner
Hopefully you can unscrew the three nuts I couldn’t get them to unthread and the marina mechanic had a very hard time getting them off as well
