I was hoping a couple people on here had a 3600 convertible. Can you give me some realistic numbers on fuel burn, GPH, MPG, MPH at cruise, fuel tank size, etc and how you like the boat of course. Thanks.
Hello Tom
I have a 36 Convertible . The 454's were replaced with 8.1 MPI Crusaders. Fuel tanks hold 396 gal. water is 85 gal. and holding tank is 40 gal. At cruise (32-3400) we run about 23 MPH and calculate 1.2 MPG. WOT is up in the 30's but its been a long time since we did that. You did not specify what engines you have. The boat is bulletproof, everything has stood up well so the boat is in exceptional condition. Repairs have been minor plus canvas, batteries and electronics. Capt. George, Port St. Lucie, FL
Thanks for the information, I was more looking for information on diesels with this boat. I currently own a 2000 3500 open and was looking at the 36 or 43 convertible and wanted to realistic numbers from those that own them. Since yours is gas, I would assume diesels will just be a little better with fuel but your numbers appear real good. I was also thinking to put a tower on my 3500 as I do really like this boat and done so much to it, don't want to have to start over again.
I have performance reports for the 36 Convertible with the CAT 3208s (375 HP). I can e-mail them to you. Just send me an e-mail (don't message me here as I rarely check my mail box here). My e-mail is in my signature below.
