Does anyone have the sisal grass carpet ?

I am interested in getting it made for my 07 43' Sovran.

Any feedback or suggestions ?

I had a client that ordered it for his 39 Sovran. He used it for about a year before we sold the boat. It held up well and looked great. It was warmer on bare feet than the grey carpet, but not too hot to walk barefoot on even in Summer.

He had the upper and lower cockpit. Obviously only the lower would heat up in the sun.

I like the carpet, also. I'm in Chicago, so not too worried about sun...and I currently only have carpet in the upper anyway. Has anyone found this carpet other than going straight to Tiara?

We have it only on the upper cockpit floor. Really like it so far.

Tiara does not make that carpet. I forget the name of the company that actually makes it. I'm sure it use your internet search engine that you can find it.

Personally I like the Sisal better than the carpet as it does not hold moisture and dries faster. The carpet after a while starts to get matted down and you get fuzzy carpet strands that separate and blow around the boat. You have to vacuum it often. The Sisal (plastic woven mat) just requires hosing down and drying from time to time. The carpet is softer on your feet however. It really comes down to personal preference and whatever you prefer.
